I have a couple of news items to bring up.
First, I have finally added some new photos to my flickr site, so please go check them out.
And second, a photograph of mine (the one above titled “Quiet Contemplation”) was accepted into my very first juried exhibition! It will be on display at the Cary Ballet Conservatory from April 9 through May 15. Admission is free so if you are in the area please stop by to check it out. There is also a lot of other really great art there. More information about the exhibitition can be found at www.fineartsleagueofcary.org.

It’s been a long time coming…
I have finally updated my Flickr page with new photos! Roughly 65 new photos taken since the end of December of 2006 are up for browsing. Feel free to check it out here.
One of these days I’m sure I’ll have Flickr functionality implememted into this site, but it probably won’t be today.
Edit: So I couldn’t leave well enough alone and added some Flickr functionality.

I’m starting to see a trend here.
Rise Media started out as a simple blog on blogger.com and was updated all the time. Then I created a dedicated website for Rise Media and the updates slowed down quite a bit. A few months later, Rise Media went through another site redesign intended to make it easier to post updates, but the updates never came…
Hopefully this site redesign will be the last for a while. I’m switching over to Wordpress because it is extremely easy to add posts to. If I can figure out how to get my Flickr photos easily imported into the site, all will be well.
So for those new to the site, Welcome! And for those of you returning, Welcome back! The animation project I have been working on has been shelved indefinitely due to consistently long hours at work and pretty much all my free time working on my photography and web mastering duties (www.joyfulartsstudio.com, www.quiltartistrystudio.com). …and a little game called World of Warcraft.
